RESTRICTIONS ON ACQUISITION OF REAL ESTATE IN SWITZERLAND
In accordance with the federal law on the acquisition of real estate by citizens of other countries (also known as the law « Lex Koller »), the purchase of residential property in Switzerland for foreigners is limited. Based on bilateral agreementsbetween the EU and Switzerland, Swiss laws make it easier to purchaseresidential property for the citizens of the European Union.
